Today Bethesda publicly released the Evil Within gameplay trailer they displayed at the Tokyo Game Show last week. Evil Within is an upcoming survival horror game directed by the grandpappy of the genre himself, Shinji Mikami, who heralded most of the Resident Evil series.
From the trailer it seems Evil Within meshes lessons from survival horror’s origins with a few of its recent successes to make for what looks like an intense experience.
Evil Within is currently slated for a 2014 release on Windows, current and next gen consoles.
