In “The Last Of Us” September 26th stands as an important date. It’s the date that the infection showcased in the game reached critical mass and things took a turn for the worst.
To celebrate such a day Naughty Dog has released an alternate ending to the game. This was originally shown at PAX but now it’s available for everyone to enjoy. It’s up for debate but I think ultimately we were robbed by not being given this ending to cap off the game, it’s vastly superior to what was originally presented.
Unfortunately we won’t be celebrating the day with any DLC announcements although the page does promise that more will come in that field some time tomorrow. So far some multiplayer content has already been made available both as DLC and free updates but the company has kept relatively silent in regards to single player story based stuff, hopefully there will be more to share on that tomorrow.
