Bad news for folks who pre-ordered the Playstation 4. Not only will you not be getting Watch Dogs on launch but now DRIVECLUB has fallen off the release wagon as well. SCE Worldwide Stuidos President, Shuhei Yoshida, posted the following on the Playstation blog today:
SCE Worldwide Studios and the team at Evolution Studios have made the difficult decision to delay the release of DRIVECLUB and DRIVECLUB PlayStation Plus Edition until early 2014. DRIVECLUB will be a truly innovative, socially connected racing game, but the team requires more time in order to deliver on their vision — and I’m fully confident the game will surpass your expectations.
Yoshida goes on to ensure that Playstation Plus subscribers will still receive their game as part of the “Instant Collection” they receive by being members. It will just be slightly less instant.
Don’t worry Xbox fans, at this rate Dead Rising 3 should be delayed any day now so that you can be included in all the fun.
