First it was Watch Dogs, then it was DRIVECLUB, but we can’t let October end without at least one more huge game delay.
South Park: The Stick Of Truth has a history of development scares. This isn’t the game’s first delay and the last big setback occurred when publisher THQ closed its doors earlier this year. Now Ubisoft has picked up the publishing torch but it seems getting the game pushed out hasn’t been as easy as they originally imagined. Trey Parker and Matt Stone joined forces to comment:
“We always wanted the game to feel like you’re actually in an episode of South Park. Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we’re excited to say it’s taken way longer than we thought it would.”
The game’s new release date will be March 4, 2014.
So how does Ubisoft soothe the scalding wound that is your ever diminishing Christmas wish list? Why with 7 minutes of new gameplay footage for you to consume!
