Harebrained Schemes announced a release date for their Shadowrun DLC on their blog yesterday. Shadowrun: Dragonfall is slated for a February 27th release date. The DLC is touted as a full length campaign taking place in the city of Berlin. The game seems to also be offering up a full team of pre-made Shadowrunners (Shadowrun Returns main Dead Man Switch campaign only offering a revolving door of cast members and Runners for hire), new weapons and gear, new enemies including magical creatures absent from Dead Man’s Switch, a save anywhere system which will also be added to Return’s main campaign, and new features for the game editor.
The retail version of the DLC will cost $14.99 while backers of the kickstarter should receive free keys for the release. Shadowrun: Dragonfall is currently available for pre-order on Steam, while people who wait to get the game on GOG.com can get a “DRM Free” version… Huh, guess that’s a feature now.
