On Wednesday, the ESRB stole Atlus’ spotlight by posting the rating for Persona 4 on the PS3, and essentially announcing it for them. On April 3rd, Atlus followed suit and confirmed the news via Twitter. As suspected, this will be a re-release of the PlayStation 2 version for PSN for North and South America, and it will be priced at an affordable $10.
You won’t even have to wait long! The title will be available for you to download next week, on April 8th. It is strange that Atlus did not announce the coming of a game that is experiencing strong sales in the secondary market. On the other hand, the coverage the ESRB got is better than any fanfare they could have produced by traditional means, so they might just be marketing geniuses.
