After days of teasing and “leaking” information, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has finally made it official: Mortal Kombat X is coming in 2015. The new entry into the Mortal Kombat franchise will be released for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. The game will feature a focus on multi-player, but the press release promises new characters, new game modes, a new graphics engine, and over-the-top visceral fighting that fans of Mortal Kombat expect from the the bloody fighting series.
There will likely be details released during E3 next week. In the meantime, here is the trailer:
