Yesterday tons of Zelda fans gathered ’round in Seattle and partook in art, dress, game demos, and general merriment while awaiting a big orchestral spectacle honoring the coming of Wind Waker HD. The event was hosted by Nintendo, and tickets to it were sold out quite quickly.
Attendees were given an opportunity to play Wind Waker HD on the show floor while waiting to see the Seattle Symphony orchestra perform some sweet Zelda beats.
It seems like a lot of hubbub over a re-release, and many people don’t agree with all the graphical changes made as being improvements, but one thing’s for sure, the game is coming and you’ll have to fight the urge to buy it again, especially knowing the Triforce hunt section of the game has been streamlined.
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD is coming to WiiU very soon as a full download on the eShop on September 20th, just a week from now. It will subsequently release in physical form on October 4th.
