Can’t wait for E3 to begin? Well, your wait just got a little easier, as GOG.com and CD Projekt Red will have their own summer conference June 5th at 6 p.m. GMT (that’s 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST). In their invitation to their live-stream, posted on GOG.com, they promised a wealth of new Witcher 3 information, including a new gameplay trailer and pre-order information.
Additionally, GOG will be unveiling an unnamed project. I am very curious to see what they are planning, as it seems that GOG is coming after Steam very agressively, offering deep sales to rival those of Valve’s service, and recently announcing an indie platform designed to compete with Greenlight. So far, however, GOG has been a follower in this competition in all features but one: the offer of no DRM. I am very curious to see what they will be announcing. I just hope its not a GOG machine.
