We’ve been given a glut of information regarding Assassin’s Creed’s exclusive foray onto next-gen consoles, but until today Ubisoft has been relatively quiet on what the folks still clinging to their 360s and PS3s would be able to expect from the series.
Well now thanks to a trailer leak from this morning we know the game is called Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and has its lead taking on the role of a former Assassin turned Templar.
Ubisoft has since answered the leak by officially releasing the trailer and posting a full press release for the game, promising that after a failed assassination attempt, lead character Shay will leave the order and will travel through the arctic North Atlantic Ocean, the Appalachian River Valley and a bustling New York City on his mission to destroy the Assassins.
The game will be headed to the 360 and PS3 exclusively. Not such a big deal for PC owners since they will be getting Unity, but definitely a bummer for Wii U players as this means they won’t be getting any Assassin’s Creed this holiday season.
