Laura Perusco, Telltale’s community manager and PR specialist, confirmed on twitter that the company’s upcoming Game of Thrones game will release its first episode later this year. While the game has been slated for Q4-2014 for awhile, there have been no details or announcements about it, leading to the expectation that it would likely be pushed to next year.
Here at Enemy Slime we are quite fond of Telltale titles, and are waiting for their take on A Song of Ice and Fire with almost childlike anticipation. While this seems like definitive proof that episode 1 will hit this year, I recommend waiting for an official announcement before getting too excited. Still, it is good to know that Telltale will be there to provide psychological torment for you, and ensure you don’t get too happy during this holiday season.
