Poland based GOG.com is still gunning for Steam. First there was last year’s GOG Galaxy, a game manager client that would update your GOG.com games, help facilitate online multiplayer, and track time spent in games / achievements.
Maybe you dug GOG Galaxy but found yourself straying from it because your GOG library paled so greatly to your Steam one. Well if you want to bolster that GOG library this might be your lucky day as the company has released GOG Connect, a promotion that will allow players to take games they’ve purchased on Steam and convert them into DRM-free GOG editions completely free.
As of this writing there are currently 22 titles available on the service with GOG Promising to add more in the coming days.
