Watch Dogs Multiplayer Gameplay - Enemy Slime

News

Ubisoft treated us to a new 9 minute game trailer today featuring some of the multiplayer antics you can engage in while playing Watch Dogs. The multiplayer component of the game seamlessly flows into the single player game.

In the first half of the trailer you can watch two players go head to head as they use their abilities to try and outsmart and out-hack the other, leading to a high speed chase across the city.

Another fairly unique aspect of the multiplayer is the ability for players to challenge others using a free mobile app to be launched with the game. Using the app, one player will control police and city infrastructure as they chase a console gamer through out Chicago.

Team deathmatches/capture the flag style gameplay is also present. Where it seems to differ from most online shootouts however is that team mates can hack the environment creating cover and distractions to slow down their opponents.

If you’re interested in Watch Dogs the trailer is most definitely worth checking out. It puts a nice zesty twists on ever present online capabilities and the freshens up the vanilla style gameplay we’re all more than familiar with in multiplayer modes at this point. Watch Dogs should be out by the end of next month (unless we get another delay announcement) on all consoles.
