Today Bethesda Softworks announced they would be following in the footsteps of publishers like Ubisoft and EA by holding their very own press conference at E3 this year to highlight their upcoming titles.
And that’s it, that’s the news. We have a date: June 14th.
Or do we? The internet ain’t no bunch of dummies, we all know this event could only be for one thing: to reveal Fallout 4.
Bethesda has plenty of projects under their belts. There’s the upcoming Doom sequel, the free to play BattleCry, and the very likely sequel to Dishonored, but none of those are Fallout 4, so who cares?
It’s been a little over 6 years since the last numbered entry in the series. That’s enough time right? It has to exist. Fans have gotten burned before by hoax screenshots and “leaked” info, but this time, surely this time they can learn to love again.
You can read the very brief press release here, which also includes a promise to stream every second of precious Fallout 4 footage via Twitch. Don’t you let us down Bethesda. Showing anything other than a full hour of Fallout 4 during this conference will surely mark it as a colossal failure in every way.
